ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Be able to conduct final electrical testing of motors and generators
  • Perform incoming inspection tests and test runs
  • Be able to complete final test run of motors and generators
  • Be able to collect and annotate vibration data onto appropriate paperwork
  • Responsible for final assembly inspection of all customer equipment before test run
  • Be able to input work order data
  • Responsible for Data entry verification
  • Be able to perform final quality test verification
  • Operate within and execute the Evan’s Quality Management system to the best of their abilities everyday
  • Operate within and execute the Evan’s Safety and Environmental Policy and Procedures in accordance with Federal and State Laws
  • Perform all skilled and non-skilled duties as directed by supervisor


JOB SPECIFICATIONS:

  • KNOWLEDGE/EDUCATION AND RELATED WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
  • Preferred level of education/experience: high school diploma or equivalent
  • 2 years of supervisory experience
  • Vibration analysis certified


  • SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
  • Ability to foster good employee/supervisor relations and build team effort.
  • Ability to clearly communicate in English via verbal and written methods.


WORK ENVIRONMENT:

  • While performing the duties, you will regularly work near moving mechanical parts.
  • Expect to work in extreme heat or cold conditions and at job sites that produce hazardous chemicals.
  • Fast paced conditions are expected and at times can be noisy.
  • Workspace may be in confined areas and/or at elevated heights.


PHYSICAL DEMANDS/REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must regularly lift and /or move up to 50 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.
  • Must be able to respond quickly to avoid or mitigate potentially dangerous situations, move safely over uneven terrain, and at times safely climb ladders while carrying up to 50 pounds.
  • While performing the duties, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, and talk or hear.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.


POSITION TYPE AND EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK:

This is a full-time position, and hours of work and days are Monday through Friday as directed by the manager. This position regularly requires over 40 hours a week.
