EMPLOYMENT TERMS: Temporary, part-time position; 4 hours per day, Monday-Friday; June 5th 2023 – July 7th 2023

PRIMARY DUTY: Basic responsibilities for academic portions of the Upward Bound summer session. This is a temporary, part-time position available from June 3 to July 3, 2013.

1. Provide meaningful enrichment learning activities in Math courses designed for high school students; These activities are designed to broaden and enhance high school training

2. Incorporate course descriptions and some instructional materials and curriculum are provided
3. Perform other duties as assigned

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: A bachelor’s degree in education is required (preferably in Secondary Social Science or
related field).
Experience: Classroom or related experience with working with low-income, first-generation
high school students will enhance employment possibility.
Skills: Knowledge of effective teaching/learning processes

WORKING CONDITIONS: This position works in a classroom setting with High School students
