Brief Summary of Job Duties
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Advise students about academic requirements for program of major and selection of courses
- Assist students with information about campus resources available to meet their needs in addition to academic resources
- Assist second-year students with finding and completing an experiential learning opportunity
- Maintain accurate records of interactions with students via Starfish
- Assist with the application process and programming for CASA Academy and supervise tutoring/extra-curricular sessions for assigned cohorts of students
- Teach Freshman Orientation for students with undecided majors
- Collect data and provided an analytical report at the end of each semester
- Engage in staff meetings and professional development activities
- Serve as a Second Year Experience Coach
- Performs other duties as assigned
Requested Minimum Qualifications
EDUCATION
:
The successful candidate must have a Bachelor’s Degree preferable in education from an accredited College or University.
EXPERIENCE :
Experience in education, especially post-secondary education is required.

Other Preferences for Consideration
Master’s Degree in Higher Education is preferred.
