We have an exciting opportunity for a Warehouse Associateto work at our Houston Distribution Center on the 1st shift (6:00 AM – 2:30 PM), located near I-45N and Beltway 8. This extremely detail-oriented person will primarily pick orders ensuring the correct items and quantities are pulled from the warehouse, using a hand-held device to scan garment bar codes. After the Warehouse Associate successfully masters this area, they will begin to assist in other areas of the Distribution Center such as Shipping, Receiving, Returns, etc., to collaboratively achieve all company goals. Responsibilities:

• Follow picking instructions from hand-held device;
• Pick correct garments for customer orders according to the hand-held device's instructions;

• Separate orders into groups or singles;

• Perform visual inspection verifying garments match items ordered on packing list, also checking for matching logos and hemming;
• Scan bar codes on packing list and each garment and repeat process for group orders;
• Read and verify any notes on packing list;
• Make boxes/bags and pack order after scanning, including all paperwork;
• Verify customer address and apply shipping label;
• Unload incoming shipments from parcel delivery trucks; Stage and sort shipments;
• Verify and inspect shipments as per Tyndale Receiving Guidelines;
• Record and properly complete internal and external paperwork;
• Label garments with barcodes as needed;

· Put away material following established put away procedures;

• Communicate issues to the Warehouse Manager/ Supervisor in a timely manner;

Qualifications:

• HS Diploma or Equivalent Required;
• Basic Computer Skills;
• Ability to Read and Function Hand Held Device;
• Ability to effectively communicate with team and other departments;
• Ability to lift up to 30-40lbs without assistance; infrequently lift boxes that are 60lbs;
• Excellent attention to detail.
