PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Performs Receiving Inspection of the Outside Processing operations, Raw Material, and Hardware, including a comparison of Supplier Certificates to Brek Purchase Order / Planning requirements, and Customer PO and Specification Requirements.

• Dimensional Inspection of Masking Requirements, as defined by the Brek PO and the Brek Manufacturing Engineering documentation.

• Performs mechanical inspection of Supplier Processes, such as Paint Thickness and Adhesion Testing, Conductivity, and visual verification of Special Processes being complete.

• Visual Inspection of lot completion on 100% of the lot under inspection.

• Completion of Shop Traveler and entry into the ERP system. Final stamping of the documentation as required.

• Reporting of Nonconforming Material to the assigned Final Inspector for entry into the NCM system.

• Performs specific special assignments as described by supervision or management.

• Written and verbal communication skills are required, for reporting to Production and Management.

• Follow all established safety rules and guidelines as outlined in the Employee Handbook and as stated in various safety-related training programs: this includes but is not limited to, lockout/tag out, electrical code safe practices, and confined space entry programs.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

• Knowledge of manufacturing operations and processes.

• Must be able to communicate with shop personnel, program management, and senior inspection personnel.

• Ability to responsibly report issues and escalate within the appropriate chain of command.

PREFERRED SKILLS

• Ability to work in other inspection departments, such as machine shop and assembly inspection.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

• High School Diploma.

• Minimum 3 Years in Manufacturing Inspection.

• Must be familiar with Quality and Inspection processes and documentation requirements.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $19.00 - $24.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• 12 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• Overtime

Work setting:

• In-person
• Manufacturing facility
