All positions are temp to hire!
Shift: Monday-Friday, 5 AM - 3:30 PM or 6 AM - 4:30 PM
Pay Rate: $16 - $18 DOE
CNC Operators work with CNC machines such as drills, lathes, mills, presses, and others that shape metals and plastics into finished parts or workpieces. Operators read work instructions, load the machine with materials or workpieces, start it, and monitor its operations to ensure it performs properly. They unload the finished part/workpiece from the machine and inspect the item to ensure it complies with all quality standards and technical specifications. Operators may deburr and/or polish completed parts/workpieces and maintained a clean, well-organized workstation.
Job duties will include but not be limited to:
- Set up or program the computer responsible for the machinery, including calculating requirements.
- Follow safety requirements and maintain certifications.
- Inspect the machinery and product for quality assurance.
- Perform daily maintenance on machinery.
- Read and interpret blueprints to properly prepare and load raw materials into the machine.
Requirements:
- 6+ months of experience in CNC machines.
- Computer skills.
- Lift up to 50 lbs.
- Able to read, write, and speak English.
- Must pass a background check.
